Not therapy.
Still Point Pages is a self-reflection and educational resource. It is not therapy, it is not clinical treatment, and it is not a substitute for either.
What this site is
A set of self-reflection tools. The workbook, the articles, the free checklist. All built on attachment theory, written in plain language, designed to be useful and honest.
The voice is calm, direct, and respectful. The work is structured so you can do it on your own, at your own pace, in your own time.
What this site is not
- It is not a clinical service.
- It is not a treatment, a cure, or a fix for anxious attachment, or for anything else.
- It is not a substitute for care from a qualified mental health professional.
- It is not created or endorsed by a licensed clinician, therapist, or psychiatrist.
- It is not a finish-line product. There is no "done" with this work.
When the self-reflection work is the right fit
When you want to understand the mechanism of the pattern, the moves that compound over time, and the structure to do the reps. When you are not in crisis. When you want a tool you can pick up, use, and put down on your own terms.
When to get professional support
If the pattern is severely affecting your relationships, your work, or your daily life. If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm. If you have a history that needs careful, qualified support. If the self-reflection work is making things louder rather than quieter.
Therapy is not a step down from self-reflection work. It is a parallel path, and for many men, the right path. A good therapist does what a workbook cannot: they sit with you in the spiral, in real time, and they catch what you cannot catch alone.
Asking for help is one of the most grounded moves a man can make.

A standing disclaimer
This page is referenced from the footer of every page on the site, and a short version of this disclaimer appears at the end of every article and every product. We hold the line because the line matters.
Self-reflection is real work. It is not, however, the only kind of work. Use the tool that fits. Use the tool that helps. Do not use any tool in place of care you actually need.
